Major Projects Nearing Completion, for Immediate Impact
In the coming weeks, two major initiatives will be finalized, providing safe and renovated learning environments for nearly 1,500 students:
Primary Schools 1 & 2 Sona Pangu (N’djili): The rehabilitation of 15 classrooms, damaged during recent civil unrest, will allow 920 students to return to school under optimal conditions.
Technical High School of Kalamu: The renovation of 22 classrooms, affected by water damage, will offer 600 students a safe and functional space to thrive academically.
These projects reflect the Rawji Foundation’s responsiveness and deep commitment to addressing urgent needs in the education sector, ensuring continuity of learning in the face of adversity.
A Flagship Project Underway
In parallel, the Foundation is carrying out a large-scale renovation at Primary School 1 Saint-Georges (Kintambo), which will eventually accommodate 2,000 students. This ambitious project is designed to transform the school’s learning environment, equipping it with modern infrastructure tailored to the needs of today’s learners.
